Vyakti Darpan · Ankur — Nurture Readiness Profile

A gentle snapshot of a growing sprout

This is a warm, playful little reflection — not an exam and not a way to accept or reject anyone. There is no pass and no fail, and no child is ever turned away by it. It simply helps us see where a child is blossoming and where a little more sunlight and water might help.

For the parent or guardian — please read first

What this is. A short, friendly Readiness Profile (about 10 minutes) to help us understand your child's strengths and how best to encourage them. It is not an exam, not an IQ test, and not a way to accept or reject any child. Every child who takes part belongs.

Guardian consent & child assent. A parent or legal guardian completes this with the child. You confirm your consent below, and we ask the child gently: “Would you like to answer some fun questions about the things you like and how you feel? There are no right or wrong answers, and you can stop any time.” Taking part is voluntary and low-stakes, and your child is never rejected by it.

Your data (DPDP). Only trained, background-checked ARISE facilitators see this. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, collect only the minimum needed, never use it for any other purpose, and you may see it, correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. See our DPDP privacy notice.

Shared supportively. Results are shared kindly and privately with you as a warm developmental snapshot and, at most, one or two gentle “nurture focus” ideas with fun activities. There are no grades, no bands, and no comparison with other children. We do not screen for any medical or mental-health condition.

A little about your child

Part 1 — For the child

A grown-up can read these aloud. There are no right or wrong answers — just pick the face that feels most like you. You can skip any you like.

Pick one face for each: Not really 🙂  ·  Sometimes 😀  ·  Yes! 😄

1I love finding out how things work.

2When I see someone sad, I want to help them feel better.

3If something is hard, I can get better at it if I keep trying.

4I like helping at home or in class without being asked.

5When I feel angry, I can calm myself down.

6I make friends easily and like playing with others.

7I like trying new games or new things even if I might not be good at first.

8I tell the truth even when it is a little scary.

9When I make a mistake, I feel like giving up.

10I share my things with others.

Just for fun — what is something you really like doing? (optional)

Part 2 — For a parent or teacher

Please rate how often you notice each, kindly and honestly — there are no wrong answers.

1 = rarely yet · 2 = sometimes · 3 = often · 4 = usually · 5 = almost always
